We Also Dance (WDNC) 1/30

Available via NETA, May 4, 2008.

We hope you’ll check out the feed for July (July 26th is the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act<ADA>) and or October (Disability Awareness Month).

Why, with little or no sight would one choose dance? How do they learn the steps? Navigate the space? Hold their balance? What inner strength is required to dance blind? Following 5 dancers aged 7 to 80, viewers are introduced into their world of dance. Close your eyes and try it. You’ll never look at dance the same way again.
